Kamichu! Chapter 01 Notes

- The stuff on the cover relating to Kamichu! says:
  "The start of a big project by a gathering of popular
  creators!!" | "New Series" | "Special mail-order
  offer!" | "Kamichu! Microfiber towel" | The magazine
  itself is, of course, Dengeki Daioh.

- Matsuri actually calls Yurie her "kokoro no tomodachi."
  This is probably more like a cross between "soul mate"
  and "best friend," but I went with "best friend" because
  it sounds less homoerotic.  (I don't think that's what
  they were going for...)

- There was an untranslatable pun on page 9 based on the
  word "uruoi," which can mean "profit/gain" or "moisture"
  depending on the context.  Matsuri was thinking about
  how nice some sort of "gain" would be, but got a nice,
  moist typhoon instead. You'll have to make do with the
  half-assed play on "results."

- On page 33, Yurie calls "kami-sama" an idiot. This is
  the proper way to address the god of your choice.

- The rest of the text on Page 36:
  "Continued in the next issue. July issue, on sale May
  21st (Saturday)!!

- There were a few unreadable kanji (due to a combination
  of my bad eyes and magazine scans) on pages 10, 12, and
  14 (one on each), so I had to guess at what was said in
  those particular panels.

- If any of the sound effects are too ridiculous, it's
  because I was feeling silly when I did them. If you see
  a sound effect that is untranslated, that's because I
  couldn't find a good English equivalent for it.
